Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson

From the back: In an evocative and fast-paced adventure on the high seas an on a faraway island, an orphan boy named Peter and his mysterious new friend, Molly, overcome bands of pirates and thieves in their quest to keep a fantastical secret safe and save the world from evil. This impossible-put-down tale leads readers on an unforgettable journey-fraught with danger, yet filled with mystical and magical moments.
I'd give this book 4-5 stars. This book is for 3rd-6th graders, 7-12. This story twists into the Disney version. This book is before Peter Pan became Peter Pan. All the mystical and magic is a good mix for this battling book.
