The Book

Can you take a picture with your head and memorize it? Cam Jansen and the Mystery of the Stolen Diamonds, by Dave A. Adlar, is a mystery book. Cam is called Cam because her brain works like a CAMera. Get it? CAM-era?! Haha! There are people who robbed a jewelery store and Cam takes a picture of the thief's in her brain. Then, she follows them to their house. The police show up and take the jewels. Find out more in the book. On a scale of 1-10, I give this book an 8. It almost, ALMOST, felt like I was in the book.

Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson

I'd give this book 4-5 stars. This book is for 3rd-6th graders, 7-12. This story twists into the Disney version. This book is before Peter Pan became Peter Pan. All the mystical and magic is a good mix for this battling book.

Mr. Popper's Penguins

In school we read Mr. Popper's Penguins. It's about this guy named Mr. Popper who gets penguins. Soon they become famous and get offered a deal. Before Mr. Popper new it, he was traveling all over the world, from theater to theater. He got payed millions of dollars. Mr. Popper makes a decision that even though he gets payed a ton of money, he does not want to have his penguins in theaters anymore. And they all live happily... ever... after.

Fablehaven

I read Fablehaven with my mom and brother. There's these two kids, a girl named Kendra and the boy is Seth. Anyways, there parents took them to there Grandma and Grandpa's house. There's a witch who lives in the forest. Shes on the cover.
There was a Summer Solstice. On Summer Solstice TONS of monsters attacked. That's my description. Mythological, magical, awesome, EPIC, and yeah.

The Prophecy of the Stones

Iread The Prophecy of the Stones by Flaia Bujor. It's about these three girls, Opal, Amber, and Jade. There is a prophecy, and they are the people in it. They each reseve a black velvet purse with a stone inside. Jade got a Jade stone, Amber got a Orangeish stone, and Opal got a muli-colored stone. The stones send them a mesage. It was a wierd symble. Amber knew an old women who could help them figure out what it means. So they go to her house (witch is a farm) and sleep in the stables. In the morning, Jade woke up first. She went the front door of the house and screameed, "Open up old hag!" No one awnesered. She screamed again. This time Opal and Amber woke up. Jade screaned for a thierd time and the women opened the door and slamed shut in front of Jade, and Jade pounded on the door. I will not tell the whole story. This is an outstanding book. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this book.

Toothless Wonder

I read Junie B., First Grader, Toothless Wonder. It is written by Barbra Park, and illistrated by Denise Brucks. This book is about Junie B. getting a lose tooth and dosnt want it to come out. So she thinks about it on the bus ride home, and thinks that she shouldn't wiggle it and it will get tight again. But when she got home her Grandpa Miller started wiggling it, and giggling it until, poof! It came out! Junie B. started screaming, "GRANDPA MILLER KNOCKED MY TOOTH OUT! GRANDPA MILLR KNOCKED MY TOOTH OUT!" He finally quieted her down.

The next day was show and tell, so Junie B. brought her cup she used when her tooth was bleeding. I liked this book because it is funny and the way it is written. There is a kid named Jos'e and he speecks a little spanish witch is si, yes in spanish.
